The movie is an attempt to bring out a narrative of the everyday mundane act of living under the oppressive circumstances of having to negotiate between life and death in Manipur. The story is that of Naorem Prakash who in living the act of violence himself has become a witness. The witness(es) lives are fraught with uncertainty. Silence usually becomes recourse for the witness. The celebration will continue for nine whole days with devotional singing and dancing followed by the traditional feasting of khichri. "KANG" an indigenous games from Manipur is a very popular game in which both Male and Female of specified numbers can be participated in the game. "KANG" is local name of the small oval shaped or sometimes circular disc made of elephant tusk or lac having a diameter about one and half inch and thickness of three quarter of an inch. The important part of the game which is full of entertainment and show of skill rather than stiff competition and show down of strength is the style of throwing or pushing of the disc to its target which was at the side of opposite team. It is usually played indoor on smooth clay ground.
